Reviewing some new technology
I was talking to a girlfriend today and she suggested some of the tools - something called the Lens Cleaner and the Eye Strain Reducer. So I have decided to buy them and give them a whirl.

Reviewing my eyesight status as at today
I stopped using prescription glasses about 18 months ago. I felt that the last set of prescription glasses although they looked nice didn't really serve me. I don't know whether it is just getting older or the fact that the glasses I am wearing don't serve me.
I felt I wanted to change to just magnifying glasses. So I did. I currently use 2.5 magnification.
I want to investigate what foods will help me with my eyesight and not just 'carrots'. I would also like to see what alternatives I can use to improve my eyesight as well. Like natural eye movement practices or perhaps some tools that may help me with my eyesight that are easy to use.
I feel like I want to work with my eyes in reverse - so to speak. So I know the things that seems to have been the 'latest' undoing - is not being able to read telephone books, tiny writing and maps very easily.
I remember being in the car one night trying to read my street directory and not being able to focus and having to use a torchlight to see with more clarity.
